PrincessGrams was "born" when an out of town friend forgot a special gift for her niece and I volunteered to send it to her at her next destination. That special gift was... a tiara!
The wheels started turning and an epiphany occurred. Other people are just as busy, if not more, than my friend! Because of our hectic lifestyles, how many people almost or (heavens no!) completely miss a loved one's special event? A lot! (including me) So I wanted to help rectify this situation.
So the journey began. I assembled a team of suppliers that comprised of local small business merchants. The idea behind this is that small business positively impacts the most people and has the biggest effect on local economics. For instance, the website was developed and is maintained by a young woman, brave enough to start her own business and smart enough to make it succeed for the last few years. The tiaras come from a bridal salon that was started, and is owned by, a woman who refused to go on medical disability. The trophies are hand crafted in a family owned awards shop started by a gentleman that was tired of "working for the system." The T-Shirts are printed by a stay at home mom who left her job to become active in her children's lives.
